I use artist grade, lightfast colour pencils on high quality  Clairefontaine Pastelmat to create my portraits, meaning they won't fade or dull over time. I love using colour pencils for commissions and I do all my personal wildlife sketches using these. They allow me to develop great detail in my pictures and bring out the personality of your pets.

Depending on the number of additional subjects required in the commission, the size of the portrait canvas may need to increase. I don't recommend having multiple subjects in the smaller canvas sizes, so please bear this in mind when looking at sizes. I can help you with this.

I usually prefer to work on the head and shoulders of a subject, however if you want a full body commission, please let me know.

A non refundable booking fee of 20% is required in advance to confirm your order or I can take card payment in person. I send out an invoice for the deposit payment before I start, the rest is payable only once you are 100% happy with your commission. I provide updates on your commission as I go so you can see your pet(s) come to life on the page! If you want it to remain a surprise at the end though, just let me know when you book.

Postage is not included in the cost of the commission, you are very welcome to collect your commission, many clients do! I can ship anywhere in the world and can add this cost onto your quote on request.
